Use Isopropyl Myristate in a candle and scented diffuser

For a candle:

1. Prepare your ingredients: Gather all the ingredients needed to make your candle, including wax, wick, fragrance, and of course, Isopropyl Myristate.
2. Melt the wax: Use a safe method to melt your wax (in a double boiler or microwave) until it is completely liquid.
3. Add Isopropyl Myristate: When the wax is still hot and liquid, add the Isopropyl Myristate. The amount will depend on your recipe, but is generally between 1% and 5% of the total formulation. Mix well to ensure even distribution of the Isopropyl Myristate.
4. Add the scent: Then add your perfume or essential oil to the wax, following the dosage recommendations in your recipe. Mix carefully so that the fragrance is well distributed.
5. Place the wick: Secure the wick to the bottom of your candle container, then pour the scented wax into the container around the wick.
6. Leave to cool: Allow the candle to cool and harden for several hours or overnight.
7. Cut the wick: Once the candle has cooled, trim the wick approximately 1cm above the surface of the candle.
8. Light the candle: Your candle is now ready to light and diffuse the scent.

For a scented diffuser:

1. Prepare your ingredients: Gather the necessary items for your diffuser, including the diffuser itself, diffusing sticks (or other media), fragrance, and Isopropyl Myristate.
2. Mix the perfume: In a container, mix the perfume or essential oils with the Isopropyl Myristate. The dosage will depend on the specific recipe you follow, but it is generally between 1% and 5% of the total formulation. Mix well for uniform dispersion.
3. Fill the diffuser: Pour the fragrance and Isopropyl Myristate mixture into the diffuser, using a funnel if necessary.
4. Insert the sticks: Place the diffusing sticks into the diffuser, letting them soak in the scent mixture.
5. Broadcast: The sticks will absorb the scent mixture and release it into the air. Turn the sticks periodically to enhance the diffusion of the scent.
6. Interview : When the scent mixture diminishes, simply add a little more mixture into the diffuser to extend the life of the diffuser.
