Advice : Measure the weight of your container filled with water to the intended pouring level. Choose the type of wax to apply the right density (soy 0,85, noix de coco 0,89, colza et paraffine 0,90, olive 0,91, abeille 0,96). Les pourcentages de parfum and of colorant s'appliquent au poids total (cire + parfum + colorant), pas à la cire seule. Ajustez le parfum entre 6% and 10% depending on the desired intensity.

Why calculate the amount of wax?

The amount of wax used in a candle has a direct impact on its appearance, burn time, and lifespan. Too little wax can result in inconsistent burning or reduced lifespan. Our tool takes into account the specific characteristics of each type of wax to provide you with an accurate estimate.

Calculate perfume and coloring

Le calculateur part du poids d'eau du contenant, en déduit la masse totale avec la densité de la cire, puis applique les % de parfum et de colorant sur ce total. La cire affichée est ce qu'il reste après parfum et colorant (ex. 100 g d'eau en cire d'olive → 91 g total ; 8 % parfum = 7,28 g ; 1 % colorant = 0,91 g ; cire ≈ 82,8 g).
